Bone grafting is the process of taking a bone from the patient’s tooth which was drilled through a suction device so that the dental implant can be adapted to ensure bone growth. An orthopedic surgeon can also choose to take the bone from the patient’s hip and though synthetic bone can be used, the procedure still favors more the use of natural bone.
