&otIf you find wearing dentures uncomfortable, then a dental implant maybe is just what you need. A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed in your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. They can either be implanted in the bone (called Endosteal) or on it (Subperiosteal). Unlike dentures, these don’t fall off accidentally—saving you months of embarrassment. They look so natural, it’s like you never lost a tooth or you grew a new one overnight.

Why get one in the first place? Having a large gap (or even gaps) may affect one’s self-esteem, or food chewing. Implants replaces one or more teeth without affecting the others, it also supports bridges and dentures.

Still thinking about it?
